Olga Arribas Quintana (1993), born in Prague, is one of the most interesting young violinists and artists of her generation. Olga has been playing the violin since she was four years old, following the musical tradition of her mother, her father and her paternal grandfather (all of them violinists) and her grandmother, a great Czech soprano. Olga studied under Polish professor and violinist Adam Kostecki at the University of Music, Performing Arts and Media in Hannover, where she graduated in 2021 with the degree of Master of Music (M. Mus.).

Olga has successfully competed in numerous internationally prestigious competitions, having won first prizes at the Rodolfo Lipizer Award (Italy, 2016) and Prague Spring (Czech Republic, 2017), as well as the second prize of Shanghai Isaac Stern International Violin Competition (China, 2018), where she also won the award for the best interpretation of a contemporary Chinese Concerto (Qigang Chen: La joie de souffrance), being the only one to play it by heart.

Olga collaborates with some of the most important European orchestras, performing regularly as soloist and concertmaster in Germany, the Czech Republic, Belgium and Italy, alongside the Czech Philharmonic, the Antwerp Philharmonic Orchestra, the Czech Radio Orchestra and the West Bohemian Orchestra Mariánské Lázně, among others. She has also performed as a soloist in China, Russia, Sri Lanka, Germany, Italy etc., with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra, the Salzburg Soloists, Chamber Music Society of Colombo, the Kazan La Primavera Chamber Orchestra and the Izhevsk Symphony. She works with renowned directors such as Michael Stern, Julian Rachlin, Lior Shambadal, Radek Baborák, Douglas Bostock, Leoš Svárovský, Alexandra Arrieche, Jiří Bělohlávek, Pablo Heras Casado, Jiří Rožeň and others.

From 2020 to 2022, Olga lived in Brussels and performed regularly as guest concertmaster and assistant concertmaster of the Belgian National Orchestra and the Antwerp Philharmonic. She has also worked with world-renowned artists from both the classical and popular scenes, such as Kirill Gerstein, Andrea Bocelli, Stromae, The Beach Boys and Axelle Red. She is also regularly invited as guest concertmaster of the West Bohemian Orchestra Mariánské Lázně conducted by Radek Baborák. She has been invited to major music festivals such as the Dvořák's Prague International Music Festival, Prague Spring International Music Festival and Ticino Musica International Classic, among others. Since 2021 she has formed the Trio Euterpé with the cellist Štěpán Filípek and the pianist Ondrej Olos and they have recorded a CD with compositions by M. Ištvan and F. Schubert. Olga plays regularly with Czech pianist Miroslav Sekera, with whom she released her debut CD "Mozaika" with compositions by W.A. Mozart, E. Ysaÿe, P. I. Tchaikovsky, S. Prokofjev and F. Kreisler, which was published in April 2022.

Since September 2022 Olga has been living in Mexico City and already collaborated in a number of musical projects, both chamber and orchestral music. She is regularly invited to cooperate with Filarmónica de las Artes as a concertmaster and in March 2024 she made her debut as a soloist with Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de México (P. I. Tchaikovsky's violin concerto) and Orquesta Filarmónica de la Ciudad de México (M. Bruch's violin concerto), receiving a great review from an esteemed Mexican critic Lázaro Azar (see in reviews).

Olga Arribas Quintana (1993), nacida en Praga, es una de las jóvenes violinistas y artistas más interesantes de su generación. Olga toca el violín desde los cuatro años, siguiendo la tradición musical de su madre, su padre y su abuelo paterno (todos ellos violinistas) y de su abuela, gran soprano checa. Olga estudió bajo la catedra del Profesor y violinista polaco Adam Kostecki en la Universidad de Música, Artes Escénicas y Medios de Hannover, donde se graduó en 2021 con el título de Maestría en Música (M. Mus.). 

Olga ha competido con éxito en numerosos concursos de prestigio internacional, habiendo obtenido primeros premios en el Premio Rodolfo Lipizer (Italia, 2016) y Primavera de Praga (República Checa, 2017), así como el segundo premio del Concurso Internacional de Violín Isaac Stern de Shanghai (China, 2018), donde también ganó el premio a la mejor interpretación de un Concierto chino contemporáneo (Qigang Chen: La joie de souffrance), siendo la única en tocarlo de memoria.

Olga colabora con algunas de las más importantes orquestas europeas actuando regularmente como solista y concertino en Alemania, República Checa, Bélgica e Italia, junto a la Filarmónica Checa, la Orquesta Filarmónica de Amberes, la Orquesta de Radio de Chequia y la Orquesta de Bohemia Occidental Mariánské Lázně, entre otras. También ha actuado como solista en China, Rusia, Sri Lanka, Alemania, Italia etc., con la Orquesta Sinfónica de Shanghai, los Solistas de Salzburgo, Chamber Music Society of Colombo, la Orquesta de Cámara de Kazan La Primavera y la Sinfónica de Izhevsk. Trabaja con directores de renombre como Michael Stern, Julian Rachlin, Lior Shambadal, Radek Baborák, Douglas Bostock, Leoš Svárovský, Alexandra Arrieche, Jiří Bělohlávek, Pablo Heras Casado, Jiří Rožeň y otros. 

De 2020 a 2022, Olga vivió en Bruselas y actuó regularmente como concertino invitado y concertino asistente de la Orquesta Nacional Belga y la Filarmónica de Amberes. También ha trabajado con artistas de renombre mundial tanto de la escena clásica como popular, como Kirill Gerstein, Andrea Bocelli, Stromae, The Beach Boys y Axelle Red. Así mismo es invitada regularmente como concertino invitado de la Orquesta de Bohemia Occidental Mariánské Lázně dirigida por Radek Baborák. Ha sido invitada a los principales festivales de música como el Festival Internacional de Música Dvořákova Praha, el Festival Internacional de Música de Primavera de Praga y Ticino Musica International Classic, entre otros. Desde 2021 forma el Trio Euterpé con el violonchelista Štěpán Filípek y el pianista Ondrej Olos y han grabado un CD con composiciones de M. Ištvan y F. Schubert. Desde septiembre de 2022 Olga vive en la Ciudad de México y ya ha colaborado en varios proyectos musicales, tanto de cámara como orquestales. Es invitada regularmente a colaborar con la Filarmónica de las Artes como concertino y en marzo de 2024 debutó como solista con la Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de México (concierto para violín de P. Olga Arribas Quintana (1993), in Prag geboren, zählt zu den aufregendsten jungen Geigerinnen und Künstlerinnen ihrer Generation. Sie spielt seit ihrem vierten Lebensjahr Geige und folgt damit der musikalischen Tradition ihrer Mutter, ihres Vaters und ihres Großvaters väterlicherseits (alle Geiger) sowie ihrer Großmutter, einer großartigen tschechischen Sopranistin. Seit 2014 studierte Olga bei Prof. Adam Kostecki an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover. 2021 schloss Olga ihr Studium mit dem Titel Master of Music (M. Mus.) ab.

Olga ist erste Preisträgerin zahlreicher internationaler Wettbewerbe wie dem Rodolfo Lipizer Preis (Italien, 2016) und dem internationalen Wettbewerb Prager Frühling (Tschechische Republik, 2017). In beiden Wettbewerben wurde sie außerdem mit zahlreichen Sonderpreisen ausgezeichnet. 2018 wurde sie beim Shanghai Isaac Stern International Violin Competition mit dem 2. Preis ausgezeichnet, im gleichen Wettbewerb wurde ihr als einzige Teilnehmerin, die das Werk auswendig spielte, zudem der Preis für die beste Interpretation für das zeitgenössische chinesische Violinkonzert (Qigang Chen: La joie de souffrance) zuerkannt.

Olga arbeitet mit einigen der wichtigsten europäischen Orchester zusammen und tritt regelmäßig als Solistin und Konzertmeisterin in Deutschland, der Tschechischen Republik, Belgien und Italien auf, mit der Tschechischen Philharmonie, dem Antwerpener Philharmonischen Orchester, dem Tschechischen Rundfunkorchester und dem Westböhmischen Orchester Mariánské Lázně, u. a. Darüber hinaus spielte sie als Solistin in China, Russland, Sri Lanka, Deutschland, Italien usw., mit den Shanghai Symphonikern, den Salzburger Solisten, dem Kazan Kammerorchester La Primavera und den Izhevsk Symphonikern. Sie arbeitet mit namhaften Dirigenten wie Michael Stern, Julian Rachlin, Lior Shambadal, Radek Baborák, Douglas Bostock, Leoš Svárovský, Alexandra Arrieche, Jiří Bělohlávek, Pablo Heras Casado, Jiří Rožeň und anderen zusammen.  

Von 2020 bis 2022 lebte Olga in Brüssel und trat regelmäßig als Gastkonzertmeisterin und stellv. Konzertmeisterin mit dem Belgischen Nationalorchester und den Antwerpener Philharmonikern auf. Außerdem arbeitete sie mit weltbekannten Künstlern sowohl aus der klassischen als auch der populären Szene wie u.a. Kirill Gerstein, Andrea Bocelli, Stromae, The Beach Boys und Axelle Red zusammen. Sie wird auch regelmäßig als Gastkonzertmeisterin des Westböhmischen Orchesters Marienbad (Mariánské Lázně) unter der Leitung von Radek Baborák eingeladen. Sie wurde zu bedeutenden Musikfestivals wie dem Internationalen Musikfestival Dvořáks Prag, dem Internationalen Musikfestival Prager Frühling und der Ticino Musica International Classic eingeladen. Seit 2021 bildet sie mit dem Cellisten Štěpán Filípek und dem Pianisten Ondrej Olos das Trio Euterpé und hat eine CD mit Kompositionen von M. Ištvan und F. Schubert aufgenommen. Olga spielt regelmäßig mit dem tschechischen Pianisten Miroslav Sekera, mit dem sie ihre Debüt-CD "Mozaika" mit Kompositionen von W.A. Mozart, E. Ysaÿe, P. I. Tschaikowsky, S. Prokofjev und F. Kreisler aufgenommen hat, die im April 2022 erschienen ist.

Seit September 2022 lebt Olga in Ciudad de México und hat bereits an zahlreichen Musikprojekten mitgewirkt, sowohl im Kammer- als auch im Orchesterbereich. Sie wird regelmäßig zur Zusammenarbeit mit der Filarmónica de las Artes als Konzertmeisterin eingeladen und debütierte im März 2024 als Solistin mit dem Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de México (P. I. Tschaikowskis Violinkonzert) und dem Orquesta Filarmónica de la Ciudad de México (M. Bruchs Violinkonzert) und erhielt eine großartige Rezension vom angesehenen mexikanischen Kritiker Lázaro Azar (siehe Rezensionen).

Olga Arribas Quintana (1993) se věnuje hře na housle od 4 let, kdy ji začala vyučovat její matka Rimma Kotmelová, absolventka Moskevské konzervatoře ve třídě prof. Viktora Pikajzena. Od osmi let pokračovala ve studiu již na Hudební škole hlavního města Prahy ve třídě prof. Jiřího Fišera, u něhož absolvovala Gymnázium Jana Nerudy s hudebním zaměřením a následně i Pražskou konzervatoř v roce 2014. Od října 2014 studovala na Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover pod vedením prof. Adama Kosteckiho, u nějž studium také ukončila v roce 2021 získáním titulu Master of Music (M. Mus.).

Jako sólistka již vystupovala s předními českými a slovenskými orchestry, mj. PKF - Prague Philharmonia, Symfonický orchestr hl. m. Prahy FOK, Symfonický orchestr Českého rozhlasu, Státní filharmonie Košice, Státní komorní orchestr Žilina a další. Kromě toho vystupovala jako sólistka v Číně, Rusku a Itálii, a to s Šanghajskými symfoniky, Salzburskými sólisty, Kazaňským komorním orchstrem La Primavera a Iževskými symfoniky. Úspěšně spolupracovala s předními dirigenty jako je Michael Stern, Julian Rachlin, Petr Altrichter, Radek Baborák, Douglas Bostock, Nuno Coelho, Alexandra Arrieche, Leoš Svárovský, Jiří Bělohlávek, Andrea Barizza, Chuhei Iwasaki, Jiří Rožeň aj.

V letech 2020-2022 žila Olga v Bruselu a pravidelně vystupovala jako hostující koncertní mistr a zástupce koncertního mistra s Belgickým národním orchestrem a Antverpskou filharmonií, s nimiž taktéž spolupracovala se světově uznávanými umělci z klasické i populární scény, jako jsou Kirill Gerstein, Andrea Bocelli, Stromae, The Beach Boys, Axelle Red a další. Je také pravidelně zvána na pozici hostujícího koncertní mistra Západočeského orchestru Mariánské Lázně pod vedením Radka Baboráka. Účinkovala na mnoha významných festivalech - např. MHF Dvořákova Praha, MHF Pražské Jaro, NF Smetanova Litomyšl, Allegretto Žilina, MHF Leoše Janáčka, Film Music Prague, Ticino Musica International Classic aj. Od roku 2021 formuje společně s violoncellistou Štěpánem Filípkem a klavíristou Ondrejem Olosem Trio Euterpé. Toto komorní uskupení natočilo CD se skladbami M. Ištvana a F. Schuberta. Na jejích recitálech Olga pravidelně spolupracuje s klavíristou Miroslavem Sekerou, se kterým natočila své debutové CD "Mozaika" obsahující skladby W. A. Mozarta, E. Ysaÿe, P. I. Čajkovského, S. Prokofjeva a F. Kreislera, které bylo pokřtěno v dubnu 2022.
